Competitive curling has always been an important part of the curling scene at the Nelson Curling Club. Hanging from the rafters and adorning the walls of the club are championship and medal banners that are proud testimony to the quality of competitive curlers that have called the Nelson Curling Club their home for over three decades.

John Bowles, George Beaudry, Red Koehle, Bill Holland In men's curling, Nelson has sent competitors to represent British Columbia at every level of national championship at one time or another. We have produced Canadian champions at the Master's level, B.C. champions at the Seniors level, and the 2005 Briar saw two of Nelson's finest representing British Columbia on the ice at Edmonton's Rexall Place. Despite coming from a population of less than 10,000 in a province of 4,000,000, our junior and senior ladies have been finalists at provincial competitions over several years. Announce yourself in the Forum and you will find no shortage of opportunities to participate in our sport at the competitive level.
