ON FRIDAY, JULY 23RD, 2010! http://kraftcelebrationtour.tsn.ca/top20/1699#wordmatchup The Nelson Curling Club nominated Nelson to the Kraft 2010 Celebration Tour and we have been shortlisted as one of the top 20 communities in Canada. We are now competing against New Westminster on July 23rd from 9 am PST (noon EST) for 24 hours we all need to vote. The City that receives the most votes in this 24 hour period wins! If Nelson wins then TSN and Kraft come to Nelson for the day Aug 29th, 2010 for a fun filled day of sports, entertainment, barbeque and a LIVE Sportscentre broadcast. This is free community celebration which will showcase our wonderful area. Welcome To The Nelson Curling Club The Nelson Curling Club is one of southeastern B.C.'s largest and most active curling facilities. We offer the ability to participate in the game at beginner on up to national competitor levels. Those new to the City and those new to the game will find a warm welcome from the Club and its members. This website is designed to answer most questions on how to get started at curling, how to get better, how to get equipped, and when and where the league and competitive action takes place. Watch our Forum for all club announcements and use it to introduce yourself to other curlers and join in the discussions of our sport and our Club. |
